Wow, I was talking to my mum last night
And today's message was about God's plan (:
Something which is very similar to what the woman talk is about.
School (where to go next?) , the future job(what is my next job?) and even relationship.
Well, even before the opening door/chance which God gives,
We should question ourselves on how we're walking with God..
Like Paul, we should pray without ceasing,
" We are always to keep our hearts in a praying frame"
God desires the best for all of us and so,
Even when we've got closed doors,
We should thank God for it.Cos it might not be what He wants..
Hmm.. I don't know how to say,
But I guess it’s really what I should do.
Those who don’t believe in Christianity would think that it is ridiculous.(see I can read your mind. Hehehehehs)
But you know, I guess we’re less stressed and burdened about the future because why?
We’re following what God wants us to be/do, it is His plan..
So, we don’t need to think soooo much till our brain cells have to reproduce twice the time it should reproduce. HAHA.
And you’ll will still ask why I’m always stressing about everything even though I’m saying that everything is going according to God’s plan and stuffs..
Hmm.. good question though.
But you know, we’ll have this thinking that God has soooooooooooo many people to listen to, and we wonder if our prayers reached God or whether God has heard it.
And that’s why we should remember that God is omnipotent, omnipresent.
What? Don’t believe? Try praying to my God and see if he answers your prayer (:
But of course we got to remember that we don’t pray for ridiculous prayers like ‘help me to pass my exams with flying colours’ and then you don’t study. HAHA, tell you, when I was younger, I used to do it man.
And you know what, I failed a few exams. Ya, I know people will say that ‘but you say God answers to all your prayers what..’
Correct, but what is the intention behind every prayer? What is the motive of you praying for this particular thing? If you just want something to happen and expect God to give it to you, won’t the whole world be different? Everyone could pray for wealth, health etc.. wow, imagine us having lots of money and longggg life. HAHA, NONSENSE SIALXZXZX.
If that can ever happen, I’d just pray for a lot of money and that particular guy. *LOL*
But of course, we’re still humans, we’ll still feel that God doesn’t exist because we don’t see him. And the reason why we can’t see him is because He is too almighty and too powerful to be seen. He can even hold the world in the palms of His hands. Have you ever heard of that song before? People has been demanding and asking Christians ‘ If you claim that your God is so great, ask Him to appear before me, I will only believe when I see him’ I'll be like, 'wow, so daring sia..'
It’s because they don’t know what happen to Saul in the olden times when God appeared before him. That bright bright light caused Him to be blind! *and thats how God appears to be okay*
Those imbeciles (LOL, no choice but to use this word) don’t know the result of seeing God eh? Remember those who had the encounter with God, they had fear in their hearts and they fell down on their knees, trembling.. we all should have the fear..
I mean, God is suppose to be great isn’t it? See the other religions in the world, they also bow down and er.. I don’t know.
Hahahas, apparently, they don’t know about the story where the people who lived during the BC years. What did they do? Well, they and Elijah, a prophet* (hey, I love this story by the way :D) they went to a mountain called Mt Carmel and they had this kind of a ‘challenge’. * a prophet means that this particular person is able to interpret or brings commands from God and they know the future because God told them so.
Okay, wait, before I continue, Elijah believed in the same God as me and the people in Israel which at that period of time, believed in Baal, which is a er.. golden statue with er.. (oh no, I can’t remember what Baal is) but I think Baal is a baby.. goat!?!?!
OKAY I DON’T REMEMBER LAH, I KNOW IT IS A ANIMAL. Anyway, Elijah, told the people who believed in Baal the baby goat, to choose one young bull, and cut it into pieces, placing it on the wood and put NO FIRE under and call on the name of their god, which is Baal the baby goat. (Eh, remember this is wayyyyyyy back before any lighter was invented okay. Its like.. year BC?! You know BC lah hor :P)
Eh ya, and then the people did exactly what Elijah said.
And Elijah also had a young bull which he did the same thing which what the rest of the people did. And no, he didn’t play cheat lah okay. Hehe.
So, the people were practically calling and praying to Baal to hear them and send fire to consume the young bullock. And Elijah did the cutest thing ever. Lol, he told them “ hey, cry louder! Maybe your god is talking to someone else, or maybe he is sleeping or maybe he’s on a journey to somewhere” HAHA SO CUTE!
And the people, being so dumb, they really did cry out aloud and they even slash themselves with knives until blood was practically gushing out from their wounds! Eeww.. but DUH, still no answer from Baal. But they are quite pitiful lah, they prayed to their god from morning allll the way to evening and still no answer ): awwww…
And I think Elijah was rather sian-ed. Hahahas, because he asked the people to follow him because it was his turn to call upon his God. He took 12 stones and built an altar in the name of the Lord and he made a trench around the altar. Then he did the same thing that the people of Israel did, chopping the bull and stuffs.. and he filled 4 barrels of water, and poured it on the bull(which was then in the past, called as sacrifice ya). and he asked the people to pour it 2 or 3 more times so that the trench was filled with water.
Ya, we are smart people and we know that water and fire cannot clap hands lah right. So it was rather weird, but then Elijah prayed to God, asking God to hear him so that the people might know that God is the true God.
Because the people don’t believe right, so its time to show them who’s the real God ((((:
AHA! Then, the fire of God came and consumed the burnt sacrifice the wood, the stones, the duct and licked up all the water that was in the trench!
Its unbelievable for us because we don’t get to experience it ): but the people who saw, practically fell on their faces and worshipped God.
Wow.. true true, a lot of us might be wondering if this is just a story to show that God is ‘real’ but He is really real what.
Just that you haven’t experience the love of God over you and what shows that He is real is through the prayers that He answers.
Hehes, sometimes, I really feel that I’m blessed to be born in a Christian family.
Although you know, I did not believe that God was real last time until I realized that I was wrong!
Its really cool to know that someone knows your heart and what you’re thinking (:
Shall tell you all more about my life and how I did believe in God, although people thinks that God is so not real and even believing in something else ): why not try prayer to your own god and see if he answers you.
But of course, I’m not saying that my God answered my prayers like immediately. My God answers in a different way.
He shows me the way, and somehow, I feel like I’ve been knocked in my head~ Cause I’ll be like ‘ ehh, isn’t this what I prayed for?’ and that is how I know that my prayers are being answered, through small little little things! Its really amazing to find out things slowly(:
RIGHT! I SHALL GO SLEEP NOW. ITS LIKE 12.48AM ALREADY ALTHOUGH I HAD A NAP IN THE AFTERNOOOOON :D I’m still rather energetic though. Hehehs, okay, more story telling next time. And anyway, this is what I know and personally feel. Don't agree to it then don't agree loh.. Never mind one loh. hahahahas.
